The Master of Financial Economics program in Athens is designed for full-time students who desire to find employment in financial services. The Department of Economics, in collaboration with the College of Business, Department of Finance and School of Accountancy, offers a Master of Financial Economics (MFE) degree. The curriculum of the MFE program is built upon the Candidate Body of Knowledge, or CBOK? of the CFA? Program, which is closely tied to up-to-date professional practices in investment management. The CFA Institute awards the Chartered Financial Analyst?, CFA?, designation to those who pass a series of three written examinations and meet other requirements set by CFA Institute. This program is on in the Athens campus and in the Pickerington campus.

Applicants must have a master’s degree in chemistry or closely related discipline with a GPA (or equivalent) of 3.0 out of 4.0 Scores of GRE general test are required. For international students: TOEFL score of 550/213/79 (paper/CBT/IBT).3 letters of recommendation. Three letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf.

Copies of scores from the GRE and TOEFL; three letters of reference; a short essay concerning prior training, research interest, career goals; and the names of three faculty members from the graduate faculty should be mailed to the graduate secretary.
