The main thrust of our graduate program is to provide a research dimension to the field by contributing to the understanding of graphic design through investigations into its history, theory, criticism and methodology as well as its practice. Graduate students come from a variety of academic and professional practice experiences.

A master degree is required for Ph.D. A bachelor degree is required for Masters for admission. Provide references from at least three people who know Studentsr academic record and potential for graduate study. Provide Graduate Record Examination/GRE scores. Foreign language students only must provide Test of English as a Foreign Language/TOEFL score of at least 550/213 in order to be accepted into the Graduate School. A resume with portfolio should be included with application.
