This graphic design foundation and education is based on a human centeredness approach which goes beyond "just training". A thorough graphic design experience includes a strong foundation in the Arts and Sciences and a pre-graphic design Visual Arts curriculum. The A and S courses enhance our ability to solve problems and provides an awareness and understanding of our constantly changing world. The pre-graphic design curriculum establishes a foundation in the fundamentals of image making and organization of space. The Graphic Design curriculum is based on the understanding of problem solving relative to assigned increasingly complex projects and experiences.

Students should be a high school graduate. They should have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. They should also have SAT or ACT scores. A SAT score of 980 may be used in place of an ACT score. TOEFL and IELTS score is required for international applicants. TOEFL score of 550 with individual sub-scores of 55 or higher. Internet Based TOEFL (IBT) score of 80 or higher with individual sub-scores of 20 or higher. IELTS score of 6.5 overall with individual sub-scores of 6.0 or higher. For international students ACT English sub-score must be of 23 or higher and SAT critical reading or verbal sub-score must be of 530 or higher.

Students may apply through online. They should submit the completed application along with a non refundable application fee of $80; official transcripts; SAT or ACT test scores; and TOEFL or IELTS test scores. The application materials must be sent to the Office of Admissions.
