This program is the study and uses of technologies for visual communication for both print and nonprint communications. It involves the study of technology required to produce the millions of printed products used in all aspects of the lives: the manipulation of digital images for both print and nonprint; the creation of websites for industry and private sector; the creation of animation for scientific visualization; the study of data management and manipulation for high-end digital printing processes. Beyond the technical details of graphic communications, the program includes the elements of management and supervision necessary to successfully operate business enterprises. In this program, all printing processes and methods are experienced through laboratory activities, collaborative discussion, observation, and formal study. The combination of lecture and hands-on activities provides students a broad understanding of this field.

Applicant should have a good secondary school academic records and a strong university preparatory curriculum. They should have official Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report. The recommended score for undergraduates is 213 (computer based), 550 (paper based), or 79 (IBT). Alternative to TOEFL scores are: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band score (academic track) of 6.0, ACT Assessment English Test minimum score of 20, SAT I Verbal minimum score of 460, SAT II English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) minimum score of 965, Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) minimum score of 80, Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) grade of A or B, Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) grade of A or B, Advanced Placement International English Language (APIEL) score of 4 or 5, General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-level) pass in English with a grade of A, B, or C, International Baccalaureate (IB) grade of 4, 5, 6, or 7 in English A1 or A2 at the Higher Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL), or completion of Level 7 of the UNI Culture and Intensive English Program (CIEP).

Applicant must submit a completed application form with a non-refundable fee of $50. They must submit all official school transcripts, each bearing the seal and signature of a school registrar and mailed directly from the institution to the UNI Admissions Office, official TOEFL scores, financial statement and certification form, International Student Advisor Report.
