The program introduce students to an extensive design vocabulary and provide the necessary skills for execution of creative ideas. They include art direction, corporate identity, illustration, interactive design, typography, packaging, and publishing. The emphasis of design courses is on the preparation of students for the demands of design practice while developing a personal direction in their work. Senior courses focus on the development of a body of work that is assembled into a final portfolio.

Students applying for this program must have completed the equivalent of an American secondary school education (usually 12 years of formal education) and have the appropriate graduation diplomas or satisfactory leaving examination results and official and original academic records from each secondary school and college or university attended. If English is not the native language students are required to take TOEFL test. A TOEFL score of at least 550 in the paper based test, 213 in the computer based test and 79 in the internet-based test are required. If native language is English and the language of instruction at secondary school is English, students are encouraged to take the SAT or ACT instead of the TOEFL. Minimum required scores for SAT is 500-600 on Critical Reading, Math and Writing sections and for ACT 22-24 in the Writing portion are required.

Students are requested to send the following items for admission: $40 application fee; official and original academic records from each secondary school and college or university attended, as well as proof of graduation from secondary school and a copy of the results of any terminating or qualifying examinations taken or certificates obtained; affidavit of Support; recommendation letter from a counselor teacher, headmaster or other academic official who is familiar with all or some of academic coursework and official test scores of TOEFL, SAT or ACT. All documents written in a foreign language must be accompanied by a notarized or certified English translation; both the foreign and the English language versions are required and must be signed by the appropriate school official and include the official seal of the institution.
