The Master of Science program in Interior Design at Drexel is an internationally renowned professional MS degree program that prepares students of diverse undergraduate backgrounds to enter the field of Interior Design. Through an integrated studio approach, graduate coursework applies design concepts, technical information and hands-on skills to the design of a range of public, commercial, residential and institutional spaces. Students learn to design interiors that answer aesthetic, social, physical and psychological needs.

Students should have completed their bachelors degree for getting admitted to the masters degree and a master degree for admission into doctoral degree. All applicants must take at least one of the following: SAT, TOEFL, or IELTS if their native language is not English. International applicants with both SAT and TOEFL or IELTS scores are considered more competitive candidates. Results must be forwarded to Admissions. Applicants of ACE, BSN Co-op, and RN-BSN Degree born outside of the United States are required to take the TOEFL examination. TOEFL iBT: Minimum combined score of 79 and a 26 score or higher in the speaking section or TOEFL paper-based exam: Total score of 550 and the Test of Spoken English (TSE) exam with a minimum score of 55. In addition students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 is required throughout the program. Students must take the GMAT examination and achieve a minimum score of 570 prior to the end of the tenth term in order to continue in the program. Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 must provide scores from the Graduate Record Examination.TOEFL – 580/237 – iBT scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores, GRE – Minimum score varies.

Students should submit an application form with a non-refundable application fee of U.S. $50. The application packet should contain: two copies of the Statement of Purpose with completed coversheets, a 500-word Academic Statement of Purpose should be prepared and submitted with the application. Applicants for admission must provide two hard copies of official transcripts. Transcripts should be submitted to the Graduate School in an envelope which is university issued and sealed by universitys Registrars office (or equivalent office. Three official recommendations are required by the Graduate School. Original Financial Documents (original bank statement). Students must submit the Undergraduate Admission Application along with the following documents, Application Fee $75 (waived if students apply on campus or online), Essay, Official Transcripts, Two Letters of Recommendation, Standardized Test Scores. College of Medicine Supplemental Application BA/BS/MD Accelerated Degree applicants will also need to complete the College of Medicine Supplemental Application, International Students, Permanent Residents, and U.S. Citizens Born Abroad. The score reports of TOEFL, GRE and GMAT should be send through the application form.
