Courses in interior design meet in fully equipped design studios on the Mount Vernon campus. Courses in all other areas are held in the Smith Hall of Art, designed exclusively for the study of art and located within easy access to some of the world's greatest collections of traditional and contemporary art.

Master Degree is required for Doctoral Programs. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited undergraduate institution?. Completed application . Grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or better (our average is a 3.4/4.0). GRE test. Personal Statement. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0.TOEFL: 550 on paper-based; 213 on computer-based; or 80 on Internet-based. TOEFL and IELTS scores may not be more than two years old.

$60 application fee. Three letters of recommendation. Submit a Detailed Marks Certificate or a comparable document showing all course work, grades, and proof of earned degrees for each institution attended. If a separate proof of degree is needed, it must include an official certification by the institution where the degree was obtained and list the title of the degree and the month and year of graduation. If the document is in a language other than English, a certified English translation must be provided.
