　　二.考试科目要求-Standardized Testing

　　William & Mary requires either the SAT or the ACT examination for all freshman applicants. There is no preference among the admission committee for one examination over the other, and if both SAT and ACT scores are submitted with an application we will use the examination result that is the highest for our evaluation purposes.

　　When evaluating SAT scores the admission committee places primary emphasis on the math and critical reading sections of the examination. If an applicant submits multiple test scores, we use the best overall combination of the highest scores achieved on each section when reviewing the application.

　　Redesigned SAT test scores sent to us in the future will be handled in the same manner; however, superscoring will not take place between the two versions of the test. We will see the highest math and critical reading sections of both the old and the new formats; therefore, the integrity of each version of the exam will be maintained.

　　美国威廉玛丽学院要求考生提交SAT成绩或者ACT成绩，如果考生两种考试成绩都提交了，那么校方会采用更加符合他们评判标准的成绩。
