俄勒冈州立大学SAT考试成绩要求

　　一.大学简介

　　俄勒冈州立大学(Oregon State University)建于1868年，是美国历史上最悠久的大学之一，该校由当时的美国总统亚伯拉罕·林肯亲自主持建立。俄勒冈州立大学坐落在美国西海岸的俄勒冈州科瓦利斯市。作为全美国仅有的两所获得政府赠地以及同时参与海洋、航空、能源计划的大学之一而享有独特的荣誉。

　　二.入学要求Undergraduate Entry Requirements

　　The OSU Office of International handles admissions for all undergraduate students, including for INTO OSU Pathway programs. For students who do not meet requirements for direct entry, Pathway programs are available. For students who need additional English language training before entering a Pathway program, Academic English will be offered followed by conditional admission to the Pathway.

　　三.新生入学要求Freshmen/First-year Admission Requirements

　　Initial admission selections are competitive and based on a holistic assessment of the criteria listed below:

　　OSU requires students graduating high school in the year 2011 and beyond to submit SAT or ACT scores. Applicants for Fall 2016 should submit an ACT or an SAT that includes the essay portion (currently required as part of the test).

　　俄勒冈州立大学要求考生需要提交SAT或者ACT成绩，在2016年秋季申请的考生提交的成绩中需要包含写作部分的成绩。

　　Students considering applying to OSU for terms after Fall 2016 can submit an ACT score, or either of the SAT tests - the current version that includes the mandatory essay portion, or the new 2016 version in which the essay will be an optional portion of the test. OSU prefers, but does not require the essay portion of the new SAT test that will be administered beginning in March 2016.

　　改革前的SAT考试写作部分的必考科目，在新的SAT考试中，写作部分变为了选考，俄勒冈州立大学建议考生提交新SAT考试写作部分的成绩，但是不做硬性规定。
