美国研究生申请中的文书类型

　　留学申请的过程中，文书经常是最让头疼的，特别是PS和Essay。每个学校的文书题目可能不同，所以大家最好提前了解美国常见的文书题目类型，提前去思考。做好充分准备，以免耽误申请进度，下面一诺留学小编带大家去了解一下。

　　大众类型1(也即Personal Statement)

　　常见专业：多数授课/求职导向型专业，包括文科、部分商科、理工科

　　这类文书是大众情人，多数学校也都是只要求PS，字数在300-1000 words不等，内容要求一般大同小异，主要包括：

　　过往有什么经历背景让你申请这个专业?

　　学完有什么计划，如何帮助你未来的职业?

　　为什么选我们学校?

　　题目列举：

　　Personal Statement: what led you to pursue a degree in TESL, any past work in TESL or TEFL, your expectations of the University of Delaware M.A. in TESL program, and how you intend to use the degree to fulfill your professional career or further educational aspirations. Please include additional information you feelimportant for the graduate committee to know about you. If you are currently registered in a graduate program at this or another university, please explain why you wish to leave.

　　Syracuse University @ MS Public Relations

　　A personal statement, written entirely by you with no outside assistance, detailing why you wish to study for the degree you have chosen. Describe any personal experiences or achievements related tothe selected degree program, your career goals, why you chose the Newhouse School and how you expect your chosen degree program to aid you in achievingthose goals (approximately 500 words).

　　Columbia University @ Master's Programs in Electrical Engineering

　　The personal statement, limited to 2 pages,should provide a brief description of:

　　-Your academic and professionalaccomplishments.

　　-Your overall career goals and specificgoals in pursuing the M.S. Program.

　　-Your preferences for concentration trackswithin the M.S. Program. Any other information that you feel can help usevaluate your potential to succeed in the program
